ハリー・ポッターと不死鳥の騎士団

と、いいながらも、実は僕もその例外ではない。最初は、こんな本は小学生向けのおとぎ話化なんかだろうと思っていたけれど、実際にハリポタの前作を読んでみて意外とおとなも楽しめる本だと知った。それに、英語の勉強をしている人なら、洋書の原著で読んでみる人も結構いるみたい。近所の書店では洋書版も扱っていたが、洋書は日本国内のように定価販売が義務づけられていないので、amazon.co.jp（ネット書店のアマゾン）で通販購入してみたほうが値引きが功を奏して安いこともある。

さて、肝心の内容のほうだけど、どうやら本の話が進むにつれて登場人物も年齢を重ねて行くらしく、主人公のハリーポッター少年は今回はホグワーツ魔法魔術学校の5年生になるらしい。15サイの少年から大人への変わり目にあって思春期に悩む彼。前書きによると「なにかというとかんしゃくを起こしたり、やつれそうなほどの恋わずらいをしたり、強烈な反抗心でいっぱいになったり」とあるから、どうやらハリーポッターも人並みの思春期で僕たちと同じような悩みを抱えているようだ。あぁ、「やつれそうな恋わずらい」か・・。気になるねー。

また、前書きにはこうとも書いてある。「『Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix』は、シリーズ前4作のどれより、大人への成長物語という意味あいが強い。これまで尊敬していた大人たちも過ちを犯すことを知り、はっきりしているように見えた善悪の境目が突如としてあいまいになるなかで、ハリーは苦しみながら大人になっていく」・・。

さて、この話の続きが気になってきた人も少なくないだろう。
