キヤノンのIXY DIGTAL 600/55発売！

特にIXY DIGITAL 600のほうはコンパクトデジカメのくせに710万画素も搭載している他にキヤノン自慢のDIGIC IIでサクサク動作するようで、もはやコンパクトデジカメでこれ以上のスペックを追い求めても仕方がないような最終形態になってきているような気がする。

デザインがちょっとイメチェン？

それに、これまではIXY DIGITALというと小さいけれど角張っていてメカニックなイメージだったのに対して今回の600は少し丸みを帯びている。僕個人的には角張っているデザインのほうが好みだと感じるけれど、女の人なんかでもこのIXY DIGITAL 600を持つならこのデザインのほうがいいかもしれない。観光地なんかでストラップで首からコンパクトデジカメを下げている人を見かける機会が増えるかな。

55のほうはレンズ周りがザラついた質感のコーティーングをしてあるようだけれど、光加減によってはこの部分だけ暗く見えてなんだか剃り残した青ヒゲのような印象もなくはない…orz。ただこっちのIXY DIGITALは600よりも一段とコンパクトで、厚さも2センチしかないのでポケットに入れていても携帯電話くらいの感じ。常時携帯デジカメとしてはこのコンパクトさはありがたい気がするなぁ。

価格が高い(>_<)

3万円台で手にはいるのかと思ったら、なんとなんと600のほうは5万円もするのね…。IXY DIGITAL 50に物欲をそそられたのを思いとどまってから、今回のIXY DIGITALを買うのを思いとどまるのは難しいと思っていたけれど、どうやら今回はこの価格を見て物欲も萎えてしまったような気がする。

じっくりと、中古品がヤフオク市場に出回ってくるのを待つとしようか…。
