ブランド番付、SONYがサムスンに抜かれる。

SONYも海外でかなり有名（特にwalkmanやPLAY STATIONなど）であることに違いはないが、サムスンは米国のディスプレイ市場などでもはやトップ企業として君臨するほど普及しており、米国内での実力の差がそのままブランド番付の差となったみたい。

日本人としてはSONYには頑張って欲しいところだけど、確かにこのところのSONYの低迷はなんとなく実感できるところ。携帯デジタル音楽プレーヤーでソニーのスティック上walkmanがiPodを猛追しているとはいえ、ソニーブランドがデジタル業界を席巻していた一時の勢いはない。

このSONYの凋落に関してあちこちのブログを見ていてたまたま「ねこちゃんブログ」を書いているいわみちさくらさんの記事を見つけたので、ついでにご紹介。読んでいてかなり同感。分析も的確でかなり賛同者は多いのではないだろうか、ぜひ読んでみてほしい。

ただ、一つ訂正があります。
実は私は、いわみちさくらさんではありません・・。

でも、これも嬉しいかも(^^;

ところで、最近のSONYは一体、どうしたの?と言う位
ひどいものですよね。
確かに、ネットウォークマンとか、少しヒットしてき
たものもあるけど、当時の好きだった頃のSONYに比べ
ると、まだまだですよね。

ちなみに、私がSONY好きからアンチSONY?になってしま
ったキッカケはVAIOノート。(C1 MSX)

カタログに書いてあること(ﾋﾞﾃﾞｵ編集)をやろうとする
と、ものすごく処理が重くて実質できないに等しかっ
たり(さらに最悪だったのはSONYの付属アプリにバ
グがあって、重い処理を我慢したとしても、実行でき
ない)、VAIOにつなげるGPSも買ったけど5万円もしたの
に、衛星をマトモに捉えれない代物で、試作品レベルのものを販売している(しかも高額)のを見て、SONY離れがはじまりました。

きっと私だけでなく、私の買ったSONY製品だけでなく、ほかのSONY商品も同様だった結果が今のSONYでは
ないでしょうか?

だから最近では欲しい家電があってもSONYだと、
どこか"使えない"オチがあるのではと警戒してしまっ
て買うことができません。

皮肉にも?私の唯一最近買ったSONY製品のPSPは初期タ
イプだけど、世間であんなに不具合が多いと言われながらも不具合はなかったけど。

SONY以外の好きなメーカーは無いので、昔のSONYに戻
ってくれとは言わないけど、安心して使えるモノぐら
い作れるようになってほしいです。

なかなか以前のような圧倒的に強いSONYというのはすぐには望めそうにないですね。ただ一時はwindowsの前になすすべもなくマイナーOSになりさがっていたappleがiPodのブレイクなどもあって最近再び活気を取り戻してきているように、SONYもいつ何がキッカケで再び元気になるかわからないので、その日を待つことにするしかなさそうですね。

あと、いわみちさくらさんと勘違いしてすみません。コミックに関しては全く無知なもので、ブログを拝見しててっきり作者さんが自分のコミックを紹介していらっしゃるものだと勘違いしてしまいました。

Apple の場合、色々ありましたからね・・。
(今まで敵だったメーカーと提携を結んだり、運命的な
事がいままでたくさんあったそうです。Macユーザー
にとって、マイクロソフト、インテルは敵だったけど
実は、会社創立以来、ビル・ゲイツもインテルの創始者も大のMac好き(Apple好き)で、今まで何度も誘われたり、提案があったりしたそうです。)

一時はかなり危ないところまでいったAppleだけど、iMac、iPod、そして最近ではMac mini(そんなにヒットはして
ないけど)と新しいタイプのコンピュータを発売し
しかも今までの常識では考えられないような、コンピ
ューターとは無縁の人たち、業界、そして世界の国々にまで影響を与えてきました。

ここが普通の企業とAppleの違うところです。
常に型にはまらないというか、いい意味で常識が通じない。

今のSonyは、売上げが悪いこともあって、とても保守
的で、挑戦をまったくしようとしていません。
挑戦をしてみない事には、道は切り開けないでしょう。

あとは、運良くヒットするのを願うしかないけど、
一時しのぎにしか、ならないでしょうし。

Appleを見習えとはいいませんが、昔のようなSonyらし
さというか、Sonyが他のメーカーの先頭に立って、
Sonyの製品を模倣されたり、真似されたり、すれば
Sonyは復活したなと思えるんですけどね。
(一流メーカーは他社に真似されて、はじめて一流と言
えるから)
その日が来ることを祈ってます。

たしかにAppleのような冒険者的な（開拓者的な？）姿勢というのは今のSONYにはあまりないような気がしますね。

Appleも一時は傾きかけていたのがイメージ戦略が当たって急に（iPodとiTunesのあたりから）ブレイクした感じですし、日産がゴーン改革で変身したような大きな変化がいつか（それは近い未来かもしれないし遠い未来かもしれない）SONYにも起こればSONYの復活ということですかね。現状維持の旧態にこだわっている限りSONYが飛躍できる日は来なさそうです。
