災害対策に手回したまご型ラジオ!?

高輝度LEDライトが付いていたり、左利きでも使いやすいように手回しハンドルが両回しに対応していたり、無駄に高機能（失礼!）。確かに災害時にラジオがあっても電源がないというのは悲惨だしね。

電源がないときに電源を確保できるといえば近頃有名なのは太陽の力で携帯電話を充電してしまう「太陽族」。NHKや少年雑誌も特集を組んでしまう注目のアイテムだそうだ。でも直射日光に7時間もあてて携帯電話に30分しか充電できないというのは何とも力不足な感も否めない。開発者の苦労を無視して勝手な理想を言わせてもらうならば「10分の日光でフル充電」くらいのことはできればよいのになぁ。

それよりも僕が欲しいのは太陽光でノートパソコンを使用可能にする強力な太陽電池電源。実はそれをバイクに乗せて日本中から写真を交えたブログを更新しつつ旅行をできたらいいなぁと夢想しているのである。バイクもノートPCも通信用PHSもデジカメも揃えて、あとは太陽電池電源だけなのだが…やはり一般的な100V電源のような高出力は望めないのか、さすがにノートパソコンを充電できるアイテムを見かけないので計画を実行に移せそうにない。
