SoundBlaster Lite!を買いてへな。

もっともクリエイティブの人気サウンドカードシリーズであるSoundBlasterには、4000円程度の物から3万円もするものまで幅広いラインナップがある。今回僕がオンボードではないサウンドカードにこだわっているのはそもそもSkypeでの着信音と通話音をスピーカーからとヘッドセットからの2系統で出したいと思っているから。つまりPCIサウンドカードからコンポのスピーカーに出力し、オンボードでヘッドセットに音声を出力すれば、音声を2系統で使い分けることが出来るのだ。となるとサウンドカード自体はそれほど高性能でなくても構わない。

ということでSoundBlaster Live!の最も安いサウンドカードを購入してみようということに。もしこれがTVチューナーボードのSmartVisionと合えばめでたく構成決定となる。もし不具合があったら、今度はサウンドカードではなくTVチューナーボードのほうをBUFFALOのものに代えてみようかと検討中。先日ヤフオクで落札したばかりのMonsterTV3 Liteはソフトウェアが悪くて音飛びするし動作も重すぎるので、できれば却下してしまいたいところだ。
