ミュージックビデオをダウンロードして視聴する機能の他に、これまでダウンロード購入した楽曲から音楽の嗜好を判断してオススメ曲を提案する機能、音楽やビデオダウンロード作品を友達にプレゼントする機能などが追加となっている。

その機能追加のほぼ全てがiTMS関連のものであることが示しているが、アップルにとってこの音楽ダウンロードサービスがどれだけ儲かっているのかがかいま見える。音楽ファイルをサーバーに置いておいて聞きたい人に有料でダウンロードさせるこのサービスは、コストは鯖費と著作権料くらいのもの。アップルはボロ儲けなんだろうな。

いずれにせよ、iTMSをあまり使わない僕には大きな変化は感じられないバージョンアップでした。こりゃこりゃ。
