でも採用する側から見ればこれは仕方がないことなのかもね。実際にビジネスの場で使われているのはWindowsXPでありWindows2000。それにWordとExcelとPowerpointがどの業界でも標準になっているのだから。これまでAppleと親密な関係にあったAdobeのPhotoshopなど画像関連のソフトでもこのところはWindows重視の傾向が強くなってきて、AdobeもソフトウェアによってはMacをサポートしないことを明言している（Photoshop Elementsの次期バージョンである4.0で早くもMacユーザーには切り捨ての危機が迫っている）。

Macはあくまで趣味で使い、仕事では嫌々ながらであったとしてもWindowsを使うことが出来るというのはもはや標準的なビジネスリテラシーの一つらしい。まるでクルマを運転するように、コンピューターと言えばWindowsを使えることが当たり前になっていることは否定できない。
