おさいふケータイの次の時代。クレジット決済「iD」登場

このiDの機能はドコモ等のおさいふケータイとカード会社が発行するクレジットカードを連携させて使う。前もってiアプリに登録しておくことが必要だが、この登録をすませておけばおさいふケータイでの決済は自動的にクレジットカード経由で銀行口座から引き落とされるというような使い方も出来る。給料振込から買い物が終わるまで、全く現金に触れることなく決済が完了することになる。

このiDの規格をドコモらは公開してどこのカード会社もこの機構に参加できるようにする見込み。ということは、今のETCカードのようにカード会社は年会費無料のiD対応カードを発行するようになるかもしれない。おさいふケータイとiD用のiアプリに登録してもらえることはメインカードとして利用してもらえることにつながるので、カード各社は必死に顧客を自社iDカード会員としての勧誘に乗り出すと思われるからだ。
