イーバンク銀行といえば2006年1月1日から全銀システムに接続することがすでに報じられている。全銀システムに接続すればこれまでのややこしいイーバンク銀行の入出金システムを使う必要が無くなり、また他行への振込・他行からの入金が他の銀行と同じように「普通にできる」ようになる（これまでは振込入金用口座を経由する必要があった）。

で、全銀システムに接続し、10月から始まっているセブン銀行（旧アイワイバンク銀行）ATMの完全入出金無料があれば、もうこれまでのようにりそな銀行を優遇する必要はないということはわかっていたので、2chなどでもいずれこの対りそな銀行出金無料サービスは終了すると言われていた。ついに来たという印象を持った人が多いのではないだろうか。
