で、充実したサポートや出張設定サービス、そして購入時からセキュリティソフトや多様なユーティリティがインストールされている懇切丁寧なメーカー型パソコン（ここではNECや東芝やシャープなどの家電メーカーのことを指す）は初心者には最適なんだけど、ある程度自分でパソコンのOSインストールや初期設定ができ、各種ソフトのインストールもマニュアルなどを見ながら独力でできるというくらいの知識を持っているならば、もうメーカー製パソコンを買う必要は特にないのではないかと思う。

もちろん自作できる知識と意欲と"ヒマ"があれば自作してしまうのが一番自分湖のみに仕上げられるんだけれど。

なんだか話がずいぶんと逸れてしまったけれど、アマゾンと日本HPが組んだこのパソコンのセットは性能そこそこにして価格は爆安。ちょうど買い換えを考えていて「価格が手ごろなら差一新超高性能でなくてもOK」という人には結構お勧めかもしれない。
