Firefox 1.5正式版（英語版）が公開

劇的な変更はない上にこれまで使っていたプラグインやスキンが対応しているかどうか判らないとのことですぐに新バージョンに乗り換えるかどうか迷いどころだが、今回の更新は主にセキュリティ面での強化とのことなのでいずれは早いうちに導入しておくほうが良いんだろうね。

Firefoxはプラグインが使えてナンボというところもあるブラウザで、人気の高いプラグインはすでに新バージョンへの対応も済ませているものも多いのだけれど、ちょっとマイナーなものや変わったものを使っている場合は更新まで多少またされるかもしれない。その辺はマイナーユーザーの宿命と受け止めるしかない…。
