JCB STAR MEMBERSの資格を獲得すると獲得できるOkidokiポイントが1.2倍～1.5倍と増えるのが最大の恩恵となる。これがあれば例えばJCB-ANAカードでカード利用1000円あたり10マイルしか貰えなかったものが1000円当たり15マイル貰えるようになる可能性があるということだ。1マイル＝1円と低めに見積もったとしてもカード利用に伴うポイント還元率は1.5%となり、これは結構魅力的。1%還元のカードは結構色々あるけれど、1.5%還元となるとなかなか無いからね。

カード利用が12月15日であればよいので今からネットショッピングなどで使った分ももちろんカウントには加えられるのだけれど、一部の店舗（とくに田舎の店舗やガソリンスタンドなどで多い）ではカード利用から数日後にカード会社に利用の連絡（カード利用実績の通知）がゆく店もあるので、今からすぐにカードを使っても12月15日までの利用に反映されない可能性もわずかながら残ってしまうようだ。その場合は、もう不運としか言えないか。
