GoogleがWebオーサリングツール「Page Creater」をリリース

作成したサイトのURLは、http://○○.googlepages.com/（○○の部分にGoogleのアカウント名が入る）となるとのことで、誰でもかんたんに自分のサイトを持つことが出来るようになるらしい。

ところでコレはもしかしたらGoogle baseなどとうまく連携すれば本当になんでもアップローダーとして使えるかもしれない。全国のアップローダーはその転送の際のサーバー負荷の重さ故にあちこちでサーバー管理者から忌み嫌われ2ch実況系板のような大人数が集まる掲示板にもさらせる能力を持つアップローダーというのはなかなかなかった。もしここにGoogleの強靱なサーバー能力が加われば…。

現在はおそらく最も気軽に利用できる超強力な転送能力を持ったサーバーはYahoo!ジオシティーズだが、もしかしたらGoogleはこんなところでもYahoo!の前に立ちはだかってしまうのかもしれない。
