Panasonicが新LUMIX「DCM FX01」発表。新製品ペース速すぎ！

僕がいま持っているFX8を買ったのが2005年9月頃。確かFX9が発表されてFX8の値段が下がり始める頃にYahoo!オークションで未使用新品の状態で買ったのだが、Panasonicのページを見てみるとFX8の発売が2005年5月9日のプレスリリースで出ている（http://panasonic.co.jp/corp/news/official.data/data.dir/jn050509-1/jn050509-1.html）ので、9ヶ月の間にLUMIXの最コンパクトシリーズだけで3世代のデジカメを世に出していることになる。ちなみにコンパクトなLXシリーズ以外のものも含めればその間に他のPanasonicデジカメも発売されている。

これじゃぁ新製品を買っても3ヶ月後には新製品が出て型落ちになってしまうわけで、ユーザーとしてはちょっと面白くない。FX7からFX8への移行時にバッテリーの持ちが大幅に伸びたこと（公称撮影可能枚数150枚→300枚）とレリーズタイムラグが非常に短いこと、それが僕がFX8を選んだ決定打になったわけだが、ほとんどそれ以外の機能は変わっておらず、CANONやSONYのデジカメと比べてまるでマイナーチェンジのような変更ばかりを繰り返している。

とはいえ、今回のFX01は広角側がぐっと拡大されていて35mmフィルム換算で焦点距離が35mmから28mmになっている。FX8で換算焦点距離35-105だったものがFX01で28-102となっているみたい。これまではワイド機能をアピールしたワンクラス上のデジカメか、広角が得意なRICOHのデジカメしか搭載できなかった28mmのワイド端もカバーするというのはかなりスゴいんじゃなかろうか？まぁ周辺光量がどれくらいキープできているのか半信半疑な姿勢でこのデジカメを買う必要もあるのかもしれないが。

僕は高校1年の頃にそれまで貯めたお年玉を使って12万円の一眼レフカメラを購入して以来、カメラスペック厨（決して写真厨ではない、カメラスペック厨w）になってしまった感があるわけだけど、この新LUMIXの登場が他社にもかなり刺激を与えて次期IXY digitalやcybershotにも広角端をアピールしたものが出てくるに違いないと信じている。
