また世界レベルのプレーヤーが参加したことで、世界レベルの目で見た電子マネー規格の争いがEdyに優位に働くか？デビットカードなどでは様々な規格がすでに世界中で流通しているが、Edyのような電子マネーが世界共通で使えるようになったら、それは素晴らしいことだ。クレジットカードを持たなくても同じような機能を持たせることができるようになるかもしれない。
