Yahoo!かんたん決済では落札者の銀行口座やクレジットカードから落札価格＋送料を引き落として出品者にオンライン送金することができる。この送金システムで現金の代わりにYahoo!ポイントが使えるようになるというのが今回のシステム改定の要旨だ。これまでは貯まる一方で使い道もなく困っていたYahoo!ポイントがこのような形で使えるようになることで恩恵を受けるユーザーは（特に出品側のヘビーユーザーで）少なくないはず。

残念なのは手数料体系で、Yahoo!かんたん決済のクレジット払い方式の手数料が適応されるために高額商品になると若干手数料が割高に感じられることだ。もっとも、この問題は比較的少額の商品を落札したときにだけYahoo!ポイントを使うようにすれば解決できるので、実際にこの制度を利用してみると大して気にならないのかな。

なお、このシステム変更に際してYahoo!の中の人も色々決済システムのサーバ・メンテナンスなど忙しいようで、いまちょっとだけYahoo!かんたん決済のサイトが不安定だ。決済しようとしても「ただいま利用できません」という表示が出たりしている人も居るみたい。軌道に乗るまでちょっと時間が掛かるかも？
