イーバンク銀行がデビットカードを発行へ

カードの名称は「イーバンクマネーカード」となんとも安直な印象は免れないが、UCカード会社を媒介してVISA加盟店でデビット決済ができるのは大きい。デビットカードは口座にあるお金を直接使うので信用力の問題などから従来のクレジットカードが発行されなかった人でもカード決済ができるようになり、使い勝手は良い。

発行時期は今のところよくわかっていなくて、公式サイトのリリースにも「来年度のできるだけ早い時期」としか書かれていないから、実際にはまだまだかなりの時間がかかりそう。気長に待つしかないけれど、イーバンク銀行のサービスがまた一つ充実したと思うと嬉しいことだ。イーバンク銀行のユーザーがどんどん増えて、ネット上の送金決済もますます便利に使えるようになることが期待できるしね。
