BloglinesがInternet Explorerで閲覧できない不具合

ブログなどWeb2.0と呼ばれるインターネットの使い方の普及によって飛躍的に重要度を増したRSS。そのRSSフィードを取得するために便利なRSSリーダには大きく分けてサーバ型とローカル型があり、サーバ型はインターネット上にあるもの、ローカル型はパソコンにインストールなどして使うタイプのものとなっている。

サーバ型で人気の高いところは、和製リーダではgooやライブドアが提供しているものだが、海外製のものにも目を向けると使い勝手の良いものもある。その中で僕が友人などにもオススメしていたのはBloglinesで、もちろん僕自信もここのRSSリーダを使っていた。ローカル型にはローカル型の良さもあるけれど、パソコン資源の有効活用という意味と、お気に入りに入れておくだけという簡便さでサーバ型をずっと使ってきていたのだ。

だけど、そのBloglinesがInternet Explorerで閲覧できなくなってしまっている。ソースを見るとちゃんと取得したフィードは表示されているし、見ることができないのは単にIEがそのソースを正しく解釈できていないだけなのかもしれないが、とにかく使えないことには間違いはない。もちろん、IEコンポーネントであるSleipnir、Lunascape、unDonutなどでも描画エンジンがIEと共通だから当然表示できない。

僕が試してみたところではFirefoxでは正しく表示されている。また、聞いたところではOperaでも正しい表示はできているらしい。さらに、ケータイ版も表示はできていて、このケータイ版をIEで表示させると（フォントサイズなどを気にしなければ）正しく表示できることから、IEでBloglinesを使いたい人はケータイ版をお気に入りに入れておくのもいいかも？

いずれにせよ、Bloglinesの中の人はこの不具合をおそらくもう察知しているだろうから、一刻も早いテンプレート修正を行って欲しいところ。まさかシェア90％ブラウザのIEを切り捨てるというようなことはないだろうから、何らかの対応は考えていると思うが。もしずっと対応がなければ、他のサーバ型RSSリーダにも乗り換えを考えねばならないかもしれない。
