Internet Explorer 7正式版リリースから1週間経過したが。

僕がIE7を使ってみた感想としては、予想に反して（予想通りに？）使い勝手が悪い。SleipnirやunDonutで自分好みにカスタマイズできるのが当たり前の環境にいた期間が長かったからか、IE7の設定項目をいじり倒してみてもやはりもう少し手の届いて欲しいところがタップリあってもどかしい。

また、IE7はちょっと動作がモッサリではないかと思うんだけど、他の人はどうだろうか。【IE7】Internet Explorer 7 Part11【正式版】（http://pc8.2ch.net/test/read.cgi/win/1162800892/）を見ると、Internet Explorer 7のフィッシング詐欺防止機能をオフにするとモッサリが軽減されるとあるものだから試してみたがやはりページの切替でIE6に比べていくぶんモッサリを感じる。描画も凝ってるからWindows XPのLuna表示のような余計な負荷がかかっているのだろうか。

もう一つの難点は、FlashプラグインなどのIEアドインとの相性が悪いのかどうなのか、いわゆる「真っ白現象」が発生することだ。ページの読み込みが完了しているのにページが表示されずに画面が白いままで、これはリロードするとすぐに直るとはいえ、軽快なブラウジングを邪魔されたようで手間を感じる。これは近い将来のWindowsアップデートで修正される不具合とは思うので、対応は待つのが一番良いと思うが。

というわけで、僕はいったんIE7にしたものをIE6に戻してしまった。ちょっと新バージョンのIEを入れるのは時期尚早だったのかも知れない。もう少し「枯れた」ブラウザになった頃に再挑戦してみたい。最低でも半年は待たないといけないんだろうな。
