今日から、Yahoo!オークション新規出品者に本人確認義務付け。

いま、Yahoo!オークションでは新規入札者は自由に商品に入札が出来る。しかも、入札だけならYahoo!プレミアムの会費（月額294円）を支払う必要もない。これは、これまでオークションに参加したことの無かった層を取り込み、オークションを活性化しようと狙ったものだろうけれど、いまはその新規IDでの入札し放題というサービスが非常に裏目に出ている。

そのマイナス面が顕著に出たのは先週末からのPlayStation 3の転売を行っている出品者に対するイタズラ入札攻勢。これは新規IDで価格のつり上げだけをどんどん行って、事実上、オークションを機能不全に追い込むという手法で転売厨に私的制裁を加えるというもの。もとはと言えば転売屋が店頭のPlayStation 3を買い占めて高値で売りさばこうとしたのが問題なのだけど、この騒ぎのおかげでYahoo!オークションは非常に荒れた。他にも、ライバル出品者の商品にイタズラ入札を行って即決商品を全部落としてしまったり（当然、落札した後は雲隠れ）、「イタい出品者」の出品を晒し上げて2chなどで祭にしている例も。

そういう騒ぎをもちろんYahoo!側が知らないはずはない。今どこかで対策を練っているのかも知れないけれど、とにかくこのイタズラ入札に対する予防策をナントカしないとYahoo!オークションはどんどん荒れていく。荒れた市場はやがて一部のコアなファン以外からは見放されて閑散市場となるのは、（オークションではないが）先物取引などの市場を見てもわかること。もちろんそういう金融商品と同列に扱うことに無理があることは承知だけれど、でもYahoo!オークションも荒れ放題をそのままにしておけば閑散化するというのは結構な確度で言えることと思っている。
