audio-technicaの密閉型ヘッドホン「ATH-A500」をヤフオクに出品中

audio-technicaに限らず、高級ヘッドホンは上を見ればきりがない。10万円もするようなモノもあるけれど、とりあえずの入門用としてATH-A500は人気が高い。価格は1万円以内に納まるし、密閉型ヘッドホンとしてはクオリティは高め。密閉型よりもエア・ダイナミック型（開放型）が良い場合は、同クラスで非密閉型のATH-AD500というモデルもある。

で、僕はこの密閉型ATH-A500をAmazonで買ったわけだけれども、残念ながら僕は依然使っていたATH-AD500に戻ることになってしまった。これはATH-A500が悪かったわけではない。僕の使い方の場合は、skypeのヘッドホンとして使用する時間も結構長い。音楽を聴く、テレビを見るという用途でヘッドホンを用いることが多いのはもちろんだけれど、skypeでの使い勝手も僕にとっては重要なポイントだった。skypeなら普通のヘッドホンを使えよ、と思われるかも知れないけれど、眼鏡を使っている僕はLogicoolのネックバンドヘッドセットをそのままかけると耳が痛い。結局、skypeを使うときはATH-AD500を頭にかけ、首にLogicoolのネックバンドヘッドセットをぶら下げるのが定番スタイルになった。ところで、このATH-AD500をATH-A500に変えてみると、密閉型の音響閉鎖が逆に自分の声すらシャットアウトしてしまって、skypeの通話がしにくい。

そういうわけで、結局僕はこのATH-A500は手放すことにした次第。これをYahoo!オークションに出品します。実使用時間は3時間程度。かなり新品に近い状態で、僕は非喫煙者なのでたばこ臭いと言うこともなく、状態は満足して貰えるものだと思います。よかったら、オークションのほうもご覧下さい。
