いっぽうで、（これはゴールドプランやホワイトプランそのものの問題ではなくソフトバンクモバイルの問題だが）携帯電話機本体をローンで買わせる、いわゆる27ヶ月縛り（スーパーボーナス）は健在なので、27ヶ月以上ソフトバンクモバイルを継続して利用するユーザにとってはホワイトプランはお得であることは間違いないが、27ヶ月以内に他のキャリアに移ったり携帯電話機の機種変更を頻繁に行うつもりでいるならまだまだ警戒が必要だ。また、27ヶ月間他のキャリアに移動するには違約金が必要になるということは、今は安く見えるホワイトプランが契約直後に改悪や値上げされたとしても27ヶ月間完了するまで逃げられないということになってしまうので、契約には覚悟が必要であることは間違いない。

ソフトバンクモバイル側も前回のことで企業イメージが大きく傷ついて悪徳電話会社のような立場になってしまったので今回はおとなしくしているつもりだろう。これがいつまで続くのかがわからないのがユーザにとっての悩みの種。ハイリスクハイリターンであることを十分に認識したい上で契約を行うことが必要になりそうだ。
