mixiの読み逃げに関するIT mediaの記事

このIT mediaの記事ではmixi日記の読み逃げに関して反対派と寛容派との声を紹介している。反対派はmixiの日記を読めば何らかのコメントを付けるのがマナーであるという声や、他人の日記は読むが自分では日記を書かない人は不公平だという声などがあるようだ。寛容派はコメントを残すも残さないも個人の自由で、mixiでそこまで強制されるいわれはないという声。

反対派はmixiユーザが100万人を超えた頃からのmixiブーム時代にmixiに加入した比較的熱心に日記の更新を行う若年層に多く、寛容派は古くからのmixiユーザや、自分でmixi以外のブログを開設している人や、社会人世代に多いように感じられる。日本国内で最も利用されているサイトはYahoo!JAPANで、2位が楽天、3位がmixiとのことだが、そのようにヘビーにmixiを使う人は読み逃げ反対派が多いかも知れない。

僕個人としては、mixiの日記を書いているのに全くレスポンスがなかったらその日記の書き手はガッカリするだろうなと言う気はするけれど、やはりmixi日記の読み逃げという行為そのものは何の問題もないと考えている。コメントを強制するというのはナンセンスで、強制されるようならその人の日記は以後は読むまいと思うだろう。それは僕がすでにある程度年食ってしまって若者と感覚がずれてしまっているからだろうか？時間があるときや気が向いたときに、たまにコメントをすればそれで十分なんじゃないかな。

mixiで他人の日記を読むたびにコメントを要求されるような風潮になれば、かえって日記を読む人は減ってmixi離れが進むのではないかという気がする。IT mediaでも読み逃げ反対はmixi疲れを助長する可能性があるというように書かれているが全くその通りで、気楽に参加できるはずのSNSが暗黙の了解でがんじがらめにされる空間になってしまったら何のためのSNSなのかわからない。読み逃げ反対、コメント強制も今はそういう意見の人も多いけれど、ゆくゆくはこの流れはマイノリティになってコメント強制というスタイルは自然消滅していくのではないかと考えている。
