現在の問題点

1. スリープが動作しない。スリープへの導入時にCPUファンが停止せず、またその後の復帰に失敗して強制終了をするしかなくなる。
2. 「シャットダウン→起動」としたときは問題ないが、「再起動」としたときは、次にシャットダウンするまでUSBキーボードを認識しなくなる。またスリープからの復帰に失敗した後も同様の症状が起こる。
3. 一部のソフトウェアが（Windows XP互換モードですら）インストールできない、または起動できない（特に、Forex24とmoneylook2は至急解決策が欲しい！）。moneylook2はXPでインストールしたものを、ディレクトリ構造を維持したまま輸入してくると、起動や残高チェックはできる。各口座へのダイレクトのログインはできない。
4. 自動デフラグか何かわからないが、常時HDDへのアクセス音がうるさい。
5. Gmail notifierが記憶喪失になって、毎回起動後にメールアドレスとパスワードの入力を求めてくる。
6. 管理者権限であるにも関わらず、Windowsの起動時にCrystal CPUIDが自動起動できない。
7. Windowsカレンダーはコンセプトは良いが、機能面ではOutlook予定表と比べて露骨に制約が多くしてあって使い勝手が良くない。有料と無料の違いといってしまえばそれまでなのだが。予定のドラッグドロップができない、時刻の4桁入力（1930と入力すれば午後7時30分と認識してくれる機能）がない、フォームのTab移動にも制限がある、メーラーからのダイレクトな予定入力ができない、一つの予定表カテゴリ内での項目分類（色分け等も）ができない。
8. WindowsフォトギャラリーはPicasa2があれば不要かも。
9. undonutの右クリックが効かない問題はオプションから「右クリックメニューをカスタムしない」として解決できるが、依然として右クリックの「ショートカットの作成」がグレーアウトして使用できない。僕はブログのネタ探しにundonutの右クリックでショートカットを作成しながらネット巡回してきたので、この機能が使えないのは痛い。
10. パンヤ（先月から僕がやってたオンラインのゴルフゲーム）が起動できない。
11. 結局、Vistaでなければならない理由が見あたらない。

アクチべーションまでの30日間はシリアルナンバーすら入れずに試用できる（もちろん正規品ですよ）ので、この30日間で思わしい結果が得られなければ認証せずにいつの日か本当にVistaが必要になるまで本棚に安置するなどする予定。WindowsカレンダーやWindowsフォトギャラリー、それに検索機能などが特に必要でなければ、Windows XPからVistaへアップグレードする必要性は全くないかも…。
