LUMIX DMC-FX100を買ってしまいました。

こんなにデジタルカメラばっかり買ってどうするんだよといわれてしまいそうだけれど、自分で働いたお金で買っているわけだから誰にも文句言われる筋合いはない。貰った給料だって全部使ってしまっているわけじゃなくて、4分の1くらいは毎月使わずに貯めてあるわけだから、残りは道楽に使っても構わないのだ。

これまで色々デジカメを使ってみたけれど、撮影旅行に出かけるわけでもないのでデジタル一眼レフカメラよりポケットに入るコンデジのほうが使い勝手が良いように思う。コンデジであるからには常時ポケットに入れておいても気にならないサイズでなければならない。サイズは小さく、画質がよいものを求めたいとなると選択肢は非常に限られてくる。たとえばRICOHのGR Digitalなどはそういうコンセプトに基づいて設計されていて（あの会社は銀塩フイルムの時代からそういうカメラが得意だった）、一度はヤフオクで落札してしまったこともある。ただ、僕は28mmという焦点距離がなかなか好きになれず（これが35mmか50mmで固定だったら愛用したと思う）、結局すぐに人に譲ってしまったのだった。

というわけで、そのRICOHを離れてからはずっとPanasonicのLUMIX FXシリーズを愛用しているわけだけど、このシリーズは実に良くできていると思う。特に僕が評価しているのは手ぶれ補正とバッテリーの持ちの良さで、これだけあれば画質が多少コッテリしていても許容できる（canonとPanasonicのデジカメは色の彩度を強調する設計になっていて画質がコッテリする）。一時は同じLUMIXの中でFXではなくLX2に浮気をしようとも思ったが、あのキャップカバーが好きになれないことと、どうしても買おうと思ったときにちょうど受光素子面積を拡大したFX100がリリースされるというレスが2chで見られたのがきっかけでLX2は思いとどまった。

明日からは僕のかばんにレギュラーとして居座るデジカメは、FX9からFX100に交代となる。FX9も非常に使い勝手が良く長らく活躍してくれたので簡単に引退させるのは惜しいのだが、物欲にはかなわなかった。お疲れ様。近いうちにヤフオクに出して、新しいご主人にかわいがって貰おうね。

また機会があったら写真を撮って、そのレビューでも公表したいものです。
