イーバンク銀行にログインできなくなる障害が発生中

2chなどでは「すわ、取り付け騒ぎか？」という意見も出ているようだ。たしかにイーバンク銀行はサブプライムローン関係の債権で大きな損失をこうむったらしく現在は経営が悪化しているという情報は耳にする。また各種手数料を値上げするなどイーバンクの強みを維持できずに徐々にサービスが悪化しているのも確かである。イーバンク銀行の経営悪化を懸念する声が出てくるのも無理はない。

ただし、今のところはこの障害の原因はIP制限機能の異常によるものか、あるいは不正アクセスを防止するための機能の過剰反応や誤作動に寄るものではないかという見方が強いようだ。いずれにせよ現時点では原因は未解明。

イーバンク銀行のトップページにもこの障害に関する情報はなんら表示されておらず、管理体制が甘くて夜間はシステムの異常を検知しても告知する手段がないのか、あるいはこのシステム障害が明らかになるとさらに顧客離れが進むことを懸念して敢えて隠蔽しているのか。もし後者だとすればかえって悪評を広めることになりそうな気もするが。

なおったようです。イーバンク曰く、障害ではなく意図的に「ログイン制限」を行っただけであったとのこと。

意図して行ったにせよ、予告無くログインできなくなってしまったことには変わりはないわけで、銀行業としては信頼を損なう結果になったのは間違いなさそうです。
