やっぱり有線マウスが使いやすい

しばらくワイヤレスマウスを使っていた時期もあったけれど、Thinkpad T60を導入するに当たって必要なドライバをインストールするまでの間、USB有線マウスを久々に使った。職場で触れるマウスは未だに光学式でないボールマウスだったり、あるいはマウスパッドが残念な品質（仕事の関係先の商品名が印刷された試供品とか）だったりしてなかなか使いやすいかどうかをアセスメントすることすらできないものが多かった。自分にあった環境でまともなマウスの使いやすさを実感したのは、いったい何ヶ月ぶりのことやら。

ワイヤレスマウスにも色々あるようだけれど、MicrosoftとLogicoolの製品を一つずつ使ったあとでMicrosoft Wheel mouse opticalというシンプルな有線マウスを使うと、なんともその使いやすさが心地よいではないか。ポインタが思うところにズバッとピッタリ合うという点では、僕にとってはまだまだワイヤレスマウスは有線マウスに及ばないところがたくさんあるように感じた。
