Googleにtwitter的なGoogle Buzzが登場したが。

さっそくそのインターフェイスを見てみようと思ってみたものの、まだ一人もフォロワーがいないので、使いようがない。これまでのGoogleの連絡先リストから勝手にGmailを使っている何人かをフォロワーの候補として提示してくれるが、なにぶんGoogle Buzzが何であるかをまだわかっていないので普段顔を合わせる相手でもない人に試運転するわけにもゆかず。

twitterで「バズ」で検索すると山のようにつぶやきがひっかかり、また各種ネットメディアでも早々からこの話題が登場している。夕方にはYahoo!トピックスにも登場してきて、どうやら当初の注目度としてはかなりのもののようだ。しかし、twitterでも2chでも、使い方がよく分からないという声が続出している。

またネット上に本名や居住地が公開されてしまう人も続出しているようで、これまでは非公開と思っていたGoogleプロフィールが突然に世界中に公開されてしまって戸惑っている人も少なくないよう。GoogleはGoogleマップのときも最近のGoogleリーダーのときも、公開されていないと思っているものが知らないうちに他の人から検索できるということがしばしばある。ブログでもtwitterでも本名（実名）で書くのが比較的当たり前の国と違って日本人はネット上に実名やプライバシーが公表されることをいやがる国民だから、断りもなくいきなりネット上にこういうことを公開するような行儀の悪いことをしてはいけない。

なんにせよ、まだGoogle Buzzが何なのかよくわからない。twitterの使い方もよくわかっていないところがあるのに、こういうタイプのネットサービスが次々出てきたら、日本人はついて行けないんじゃないか。2chとmixiが流行っていた国に、米国から次々と黒船が襲来している。ちょうど、福山雅治が出演して人気の大河ドラマのようじゃないか。
