F80EXRが発売されるというのにFinepix F70EXRを購入した

ネット上での評判は必ずしもすばらしいというわけではない。むしろデジカメ板＠2ch掲示板などでは評価の高いコンパクトデジカメというとキヤノンのPowershot S90だったりする一眼レフデジタルカメラではないほどにしても比較的高価な部類のデジカメに属するものが多い。一時期は非常に好評価を得ていたPanasonicのLUMIXシリーズなどはこのところは2ch掲示板などではそれほど人気というわけではなさそうで、キヤノンやリコーやソニーの評価が高い。ソニーの評価が高いのは裏面照射型CMOSが登場したからか。

そんな中で、なぜかデジカメ板＠2ch掲示板の歴史ある「デジカメ購入相談スレッド」（すでに140スレも続いている！）では富士フイルムのデジカメが推薦されることが多い。そもそも購入相談スレッドを訪れるのが初心者が多いからか、無難な選択としてFinepixシリーズが選ばれることが多いみたい。4月には軒並みどの店舗でもF70EXRとF200EXRが2万円を遙かに下回る16000円前後で販売されていたこともその要因だろうか。AF性能は今ひとつだが色の表現はまあまあ良いとか、コストパフォーマンスが良いとか、そういう点が無難な選択というイメージに結びついたのだろうか。

僕は決して初心者向けデジカメが欲しかったわけではないのだが、色の表現がなかなか良いことが気になっていた。というのもこれまで愛用してきたLUMIX FX100のレンズが徐々に傷だらけになってきていたり日焼け？のために色がどうも白飛びがちで、しかもイエローがかっていることが多くなってきていたから。一眼レフデジカメももちろん欲しいのだけれど、普段常時カバンに入れておくコンパクトデジカメが必要だから、価格もそれなりに安いFinepix F70EXRを購入してしまったのだ。

実際に活用するのはこれからで、現時点ではまだ十分に吟味・堪能できていないが、新しいデジカメを購入したのでわくわくしているのであった。
